Hydrological Criteria and Drainage Design Manual Purchase
In October of 1990 the Board adopted the first edition of the Hydrologic Criteria and Drainage Design Manual (Manual). It has been well received as a uniform basis for flood control design in Clark County. Through its use over the years, the engineering community has offered comments regarding possible areas for improvement and refinement. A committee was then formed of representatives from the Cities of Boulder City, Henderson, Las Vegas, Mesquite, and North Las Vegas; Clark County; Regional Transportation Commission, American Consulting Engineers Council and the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association. The committee performed a chapter-by-chapter review and agreed upon revisions to be incorporated into a new edition of the Manual. This revised Manual became effective on January 1, 2000. The Manual has since been revised in February and April of 2000 and also in December 2001.
The Manual has been converted to PDF and may be viewed (in whole or by section) or downloaded (by section) using Adobe's Acrobat Reader. This electronic version is available for download in the HCDDM section of our Document Library.
Payment Information
Revised manuals are being sold for $60 per manual. The manual may be purchased directly at the District's office or can be requested using the HCDDM shipment request form.
NOTE: Payment must be received by the District before Manuals will be shipped. Checks should be made payable to Clark County Regional Flood Control District.
